Lezza Spumoni & Dessert – Spumoni

Spumoni is a multi-flavored Italian Ice Cream, similar to gelato. Chocolate, strawberry, rum and pistachio surround a center that’s filled whit whipped cream and candied fruit. The “Chicago Tribute” rates Lezza Spumoni as “The only true Spumoni in America”.

It all started with a very special spumoni created and lovingly producted by Lezza Spumoni & Dessert, Inc. The origin of this spumoni is Naples, Italy and the recpide came to Chicago’s west side with Salvatore Lezza in 1905. The recipde has been in the Lezza family for over 90 years.
Today, three generations of the Lezza family successfully run the company with the same old world flair.
